CIRC’UIT is an initiative of Chassepierre, CIRK! Aalst, Cirque Plus, Dommelhof, Latitude 50, Miramiro, Namur en Mai, Plein de Cirque and UP with support of Flandres.


CIRK! is an annual, accessible circus festival with expertise in:

⤵ Presenting work in public spaces.

⤵ Larger productions, including logistics. 

⤵ Mobilizing test audiences for tryouts.

Chassepierre is the oldest international street arts festival in Europe and the largest in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.

⤵ 2 days festival in August in one of Wallonia's most beautiful villages, with over 50 professional companies and around 25,000 visitors 

⤵ collaborations with: The Green Carpet - La Marche des Philosophes and Gaume 


⤵ offers year-round residencies for new creations


Cirque Plus is an annual circus festival with a focus on outdoor productions.

⤵ Provides play opportunities during the festival and neighborhood cultural work project Uitwijken.

⤵ Gives upcoming talent the opportunity to perform a short circus number.

⤵ Commits to the creation and support of social-artistic circus.


Dommelhof Circus Workshop supports circus creators and performers:

⤵ in creating and sharing their work 

⤵ by providing expertise and opportunities for creations in the arena, site-specific projects and interventions in public space

⤵ with a stage during the annual festival 'Theater op de Markt'

⤵ by connecting them with an audience



Miramiro is a circus workplace:

⤵ Is active in supporting and guiding creative processes by offering residencies and try-out opportunities, among other things.

⤵ Works on location and outdoors.

⤵ Has an extensive domestic and international network.

⤵ Offers presentation opportunities including at the annual festival in the summer.

Latitude 50 is a centre for circus and street arts:

⤵ Located in a rural setting.

⤵ Combines the production and distribution of performances with the development of a permanent place of creativity, imagination and exchange for both audiences and industry professionals.

⤵ Welcomes some sixty companies annually for creative residencies ..

⤵ Has a wealth of partnerships to offer.

⤵ Programs about fifteen performances each season, also organizes the Huy Street Arts Festival and the "Moments de Cirque" circus festival.

⤵ About 400 artists visit Marchin every year.


Plein de Cirque is a circus festival in Turnhout:

⤵ Featuring out- and indoor (tent and blackbox) performances.


⤵ With a focus on a circus artist or circus company each year.

⤵ Presents the broad spectrum of circus, from performative to broadly accessible.

⤵ Plein de Cirque is supported by Flanders and the Warande.

⤵ Collaboration with ACAPA, circus school from Tilburg.


Namur en Mai is one of Belgium's biggest street arts and circus festivals:

⤵ A 3-day festival in May, transforming Namur's streets into a vibrant stage for arts forains.  

⤵ Offers circus, cabaret, and theater, with over half the shows free to the public.

⤵ Combines early 20th-century fairground aesthetics with diverse artistic styles.

⤵ Extends its reach to underserved audiences through its "Namur en Mai vient à vous" initiative.

⤵ Supported by the Federation Wallonia-Brussels and other cultural institutions, ensuring accessibility and quality.


UP - Circus & Performing Arts is a performance & artistic venue located in the heart of Brussels:
